Charles Wahl, 28, of Rochester, born in Chili, N.Y., son of John Wahl & Rosina Wagner AND Anna E. Bodine, 18, of Rochester, born in Brighton, N.Y., daughter of Jacob Bodine & Jennette Cortwiller, were married 18 June 1912 in Rochester.
On 12 Sept 1918 in Rochester, NY, Charles Wahl registered for the World War I Draft and reported he was born 7 Dec 1873, that he worked as a linotyper for the Daily Record Company, and named Anna Ethal [sic] Wahl as his next of kin.

Bodine Wahl, 20 Coventry St. She is survived by her husband, Charles Wahl; four sons, Eugene, Adelbert, Robert and Milton Wahl; three daughters, June Vic, Ruth Pfluke, Mildred Wahl; 15 grandchildren; three brothers, John of Syracuse, James of Rochester and Benjamin Bodine of Nunda; four sisters, Mrs. Mae De Witt, Mrs. Nettie Brandt, Mrs. Elizabeth Lash, Mrs. John Johnville. Friends may call at Hedges Memorial Chapel, 271 University Ave., where services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment, Riverside Cemetery. The courtesy of no flowers will be appreciated. At her request, contributions may be made to the Damon Runton Cancer Fund.

WAHL---Entered into rest, Feb. 27, 1959, at Largo, Florida, Charles Wahl, formerly of Coventry St. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Ratcliffe Wahl; four sons, Milton, Eugene, Adelbert and Robert Wahl; three daughters, Miss Mildred Wahl, Mrs. June Vick, and Mrs Ruth Pfluke; three brothers, William, Theodore and Louis Wahl; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was a member of Rochester Lodge No. 660 F&AM, Lalla Rookh Grotto and Rochester Typographical Union. Friends may call at Corbett Funeral Homes, Inc., 109 West Ave. from 2-5 and 7-9.
