He reported he had been married one year and his wife had borne one child, their daughter Florence who was living with them. In 1930, Frank Bodine still lived in Rockford, with his wife and 2 daughters and worked for a lock manufacturer.

Frank John Bodine, 75, of 2021 Jackson street, a lifelong resident of Rockford, in Swedish-American hospital at 3:30 p.m. Sunday following an illness of several months. The son of August and Charlotte Bodine, early settlers in Rockford, Mr. Bodine was born Aug. 24, 1872. He was married to the former Emily Klingwall in 1900. Employed by the National Lock company for 25 years, he retired about three years ago. Mr. Bodine was a member of the First Lutheran church. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mabel Bodine and Mrs. Florence Owens, and a sister, Mrs. C. Oscar Bjork, all of Rockwood. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday from the Fred C. Olson mortuary, 1001 2nd avenue. Rev. Albert Loreen, pastor of First Lutheran church, will officiate and burial will be in Arlington Memorial park. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 8:30 o'clock Tuesday evening.

Services for Mrs. Emily Charlotte Bodine, 74, 2021 Jackson street, who died at 5 a.m. yesterday in her home, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Fred C. Olson mortuary, 1001 2nd avenue. The Rev. Albert Loreen, pastor of First Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial park. A native of Sweden, Mrs. Bodine was born Sept. 16, 1874, in Westergotland. She came to this country as a young girl and resided in Rockford 55 years. She married Frank J. Bodine in 1900. He died June 6. She was a member of First Lutheran church and its circle No. 2 and Ladies' Aid society. Surviving are two daughters, both living here. Miss Mabel Bodine and Mrs. Florence Owens. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 8 o'clock tonight.
