Friend, Patricia Mary 61 Oct. 16, 1951 March 28, 2013 Pat was born and raised in Portland, attending Madeline Grade School and Grant. On Aug. 3, 1974, she married John Friends and later moved to Vancouver. She was a homemaker and over the years, became quite a good cook; making sure everyone tried some of her new creations. She loved the beach, especially the sunsets; which she enjoyed with her family. She will truly be missed by all. She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of 38 years, John; two children, Arianne Clark and Joseph Friends; six grandchildren, Teresa, Alan, Jenica, Aleah, Tyler, Amily; and four great-grandchildren; also siblings, Bill and Bob Bodine, Sandi Schnidrig and Tracy Shell. There will be a memorial to be announced at a later date.
