Joseph H. Wolf, 24 AND Mary E. Bodine, 24, were married 25 June 1906 in Chicago.
In 1910-1930, Joe and Mary Wolf lived in Iola, Allen County, Kansas where Joe worked as a barber. In 1910, he reported that he and Mary had been married 3 years during which time she had borne one child which had died. On 10 Sept 1918, Joseph Henry Wolf registered for the World War 1 draft in Iola, Allen County, Kansas. He reported he was born 1 July 1884, worked as a barber for the Wolf Brothers Barber Shop and Mrs. Mary Wolf of Iola was his next of kin.

Mrs. Joe Wolf, 75, died last evening at her home, 322 N. Walnut. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Wolf was born at Creston, Iowa, moving to Chicago with her parents when she was a child. There she was married to Joe Wolf on June 25, 1906, and they came to Iola where he owned a barber shop which he still operates. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last June. She was a member of the Christian Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and was active in the Golden Link Club. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wolf leaves a daughter, Mrs. O.L. Epley, Iola; two sons, Richard D. Wolf, Wethersfield, Conn.; Clarence W. Wolf, Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Jacobs, Nevada, Mo.; and six grandchildren. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Lawton Chambers at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Waugh Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. The body will lie in state tonight at the home, 322 N. Walnut.
