In 1915, Carl Bodine, age 16, lived with his parents in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas. On 12 Sept 1918, Carl Luverne Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Wichita, Kansas. He reported he was born 9 July 1898, that he was employed as a drug clerk, and that Mrs. H. M. Bodine was his next of kin. In Jan 1920, he lived in Ponca City, Kay County, Oklahoma working as a drug clerk and in 1925, aged 26, was again living with his parents in Wichita, Kansas now working in cosmetic sales.
1930 Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., CA: Carl L. BODINE 31 TX mgr. men's wear-haberdashery, Daisy Ann 30 ENG wife. Carl was married at age 26 and Daisy at age 25. Carl's father was born in Indiana and his mother in Ohio.
From Oklahoma County, OK Marriage Records: On 24 June 1936 Mrs. Daisy Ann Bodine married George W. Whitefield with whom she was living 1940 in Santa Monica, Los Angeles Co., CA. The census noted that on 1 April 1935 they both lived in Oklahoma City. From California Death Records: Daisy A. Whitefield, born 6 Dec 1895, died 14 Dec 1965 in Orange County.
