On 5 June 1917, Burl H. Henley registered for the World War 1 draft in Adams County, Nebraska. He reported his birth as 30 Dec 1889 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, worked as a grain buyer for the E. Stockham Grain Co. of Hastings, Nebraska and that he was married.

Geneva A. Henley, 103, of Shawnee, KS, passed away February 7, 1998, at the home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions be made to the Overland Park Presbyterian Church or your favorite charity.
