Dale Bodine, 48 of Paris, MO, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at a Columbia hospital. Dale was born on December 22, 1967 in Hannibal, MO, the son of Jack and Marilyn Jones Bodine. He is survived by his father and one brother, Dustin (Amanda) Bodine of Paris, MO. He was preceded in death by his mother on December 10, 2014 and an infant sister, Dawn Marie Bodine. He graduated from Paris R-11 High School in 1986. While in high school he was a member of FFA and the Trap Shooting Team. He, also, belonged to 4-H, where he showed cattle. After graduating from high school he worked highway construction for several years. He, also, farmed and raised cattle. Dale was a member of the Monroe County Saddle Club and a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing in softball tournaments and was known for his smooth dancing ability. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. held at the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris. Burial will be in Walnut Grove cemetery. In memory of Dale Bodine, memorials can be made to Dale Bodine memorial fund, which will help children who are ill. Agnew Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
