Lambertville--Miss Diane M. Bodine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bodine of this city, is the recent bride of Frank Mathews son of Mrs. Bertha Beck of Bordentown. The double-ring ceremony was performed at the Centenary Methodist parsonage by the Rev, Edmund H. Carlisle.

LAMBERTVILLE---Franklin A. Mathews, 47, died Thursday in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pa. Born in Lambertville, Mr. Mathews was a lifelong area resident. He was a shipping and receiving clerk for 30 years with the Union Camp Corp. in New Hope, Pa. He was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Son of the late Russell Mathews and Bertha Beck, he is survived by his wife, Lynn W. Ford Mathews; a son. Mark C. Mathews at home; a brother, Leroy Mathews of Ringoes; a sister, Patricia Carducci of Willingboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Richard W. Townley, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Van Horn Funeral Home, 21 York St., Lambertville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 50 York St., Lambertville, N.J. 08530.

Diane Myrl Ott, age 84, of Bridgewater, NJ, died on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset. Diane was born in Trenton, NJ to Clarence and Ruth Bodine. She was raised by Myrl Peek. She lived most of her life on Arnett Avenue in Lambertville near the Bice, Ely, and Pierman families who remained lifelong friends. Diane was a graduate of Lambertville High School and worked for many years at the New Jersey State Police as a data entry operator. She volunteered for the Lambertville Public School PTA and the Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad and Ladies Auxiliary. Diane is survived by her husband, Pete, son Jack Ott and daughter-in-law Jennifer of West Norriton, PA, daughter Dawn Berberian and son-in-law Ara of Bridgewater, NJ, daughter Vikki of Annandale, NJ, granddaughter Abby Berberian and grandson Alex Berberian of Bridgewater, NJ. She was pre-deceased by brother Bob, and survived by his wife Shirley, pre-deceased by brother Kenneth and survived by his wife Janet. She is survived by several other siblings and many nieces and nephews. The family will hold a private memorial for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Green Knoll Rescue Squad or the Martinsville Rescue Squad, both of Bridgewater.
