On 12 Sept 1918, Guy Franklin Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Los Angeles, California. He reported he was born 27 June 1883, thus age 35 years, worked as a packer for L. J. Christopher & Co. of Los Angeles and that his father, J. I. Bodine, of Peoria, Illinois was his next of kin. In 1930, Guy and Claudia Bodine lived in South San Francisco, San Mateo County where Guy was employed as a crane man. He reported that he and Claudia had been married 3 years. The Times of San Mateo, Calif. of 24 March 1933 reported "A final decree of divorce was granted Guy F. Bodine from Claudia Bodine today by Superior Judge McNutt. Community property was awarded the plaintiff."
