The record of their marriage notes Morell was 29 years old, was born in Ashland, Ohio, the son of John Bodine and Amanda Criss. Rhoda Ward was 26 years old, a native of Frontier, Michigan and daughter of M. N. Green and ____ Fields.

In 1910, he lived in Los Angeles, recorded as Marcello Bodine, a pipe fitter with the railroad.

2nd marriage--1921--LYDA EDITH WICKHAM.

Morrell J. Bodine, 50, of Los Angeles, widowed, paper hanger, born in Ohio, son of John A. Bodine & Amanda M. Criss AND Lyda Edith Atkins, 48, of Los Angeles, widowed, born in Michigan, daughter of W. M. Wickham & Ida Emerson, were married 31 Dec 1921 in Los Angeles, by Edward Judson Brown, J.P.

The 1924 Los Angeles County Voter Registration List shows Morell J. Bodine, paper hanger, and Mrs. Ida E. Bodine, housewife, living together at 255 N. Avenue 25, Los Angeles.

Ida Bodine died 18 Jan 1929 in Los Angeles County aged 64 years.

Funeral services for Ida Bodine were held yesterday from the J. W. Woodhouse funeral home, the Rev. W. C. Loomis officiating. The pallbearers included E. H. Gee, M.D. Farrington, R. A. Ascot, T. R. Carlisle, William Phillips and William Edmonds. Mrs. Lois P. Bates sang "Some Time We'll Understand" and "Does Jesus Care?" The deceased is survived by a son, G E. Atkins, and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Giest. Interment was in Mountain View cemetery.

Bodine, housewife, widowed, born 31 May 1875 in Pernverill [sic], Ohio; daughter of unknown father & Lorinda Lienhart; died 4 March 1963 in Kansas City, Jackson County; buried Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.; informant was Mrs. Lillian Green.

Mrs. Katherine M. Bodine, 88, of 118 East Seventy-second, died today in St. Joseph hospital. She was born in Ohio, and had lived here 69 years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic church. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Green of the home. Funeral services will be at 9 o'clock Wednesday at St. Elizabeth's Catholic church; burial in Calvary cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Tuesday night at the Muehlebach chapel. Friends may call at the chapel after 2 o'clock Tuesday.

In 1930, he lived with his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and John Milner, in Los Angeles.
