In 1900, Frank Bodine lived in Lima, Allen County, Ohio employed as a railroad brakeman. He reported he had been married 10 years and that his wife had borne 3 children, all of whom lived with them. In 1910, Frank and Margaret Bodine lived in San Diego, California where Frank now worked as a gasoline engineer. He reported that 2 of their 3 children were living. In 1920, Margaret Bodine, now widowed, and her son Horace, lived in Los Angeles, California in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Forrest and Bertha Williams. In 1930, as Margaret B. Barnes, age 60, still lived with Forrest and Bertha Williams, and worked as a practical nurse for a private family.

Troy, Feb. 13--Mrs. Margaret Bodine, 76, widow of Frank Bodine and former resident of Troy, died Sunday at 9:25 p.m. in Los Angeles. Mrs. Bodine was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. Wesley Herman and resided in Troy until 1910, when the family left for the west, She is survived by a son, Horace, daughter, Mrs. Mae Williams of Los Angeles, with whom she resided; a brother, Allen Herman, of Oregon; two granddaughters and a great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Jacob Hufford is a cousin of Mr. Bodine.
