E. Dale MacDonald, 24, merchant, of Elberton, born in Oregon, son of John MacDonald & Catherine Boggs AND Eva Bodine, 24, of Elberton, born in Kansas, daughter of Sam Bodine & Mary Dunning, were married 22 Nov 1903 in Elberton, by S. Shadwill, Judge, Superior Court.
In June 1900, Addie E. Bodine, age 19, lived with her parents in Elberton, Whitman County, Washington where she was employed as a house servant. On 12 Sept 1918, Ernest Dale McDonald registered for the World War 1 draft in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. He reported he was born 1 March 1879, was part-owner of McDonald & Peterson, a auto parts store in Mesa, and Evelyn McDonald, his wife, was his next of kin. In 1920, Dail E. McDonald lived in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona employed as a salesman for an auto supply business and in 1930 as E. D. McDonald, reported he was an auto salesman. The deaths of both Ernest and Evelyn McDonald were registered in Arizona as MacDonald.
