Services were held March 17 for Robert A. Bodine III, 32, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Hackettstown, who died March 14 in Phoenix Baptist Hospital after a short illness. Born in Newton, he lived in Hackettstown until he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force 10 years ago. He served at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. He was employed by Universal Propulsion Co., Inc. in Phoenix as a supervisor. He was a member of North Freeway Assembly of God. Mr. Bodine is survived by his wife, Joan; a son, Courtney Aaron; a daughter, Rayna Faith; two stepdaughters, Melissa and Melanie Yanez of Phoenix; his parents, Robert and Anna Bodine; a brother, Darryl A. Bodine; two sisters, Cheryl A. Rinehart and Darlene A. Rolph, aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces, all in the Hackettstown area; and a grandmother, Laura Bodine, Cocoa, Fla. Interment was in Veterans' Cemetery, Phoenix, Ariz. The Chapel of the Chimes, Glendale, Ariz., was in charge of arrangements. Pastor Gordon Mesic, North Freeway Assembly of God, conducted services.
Robert Bodine, a Air Force Staff Sergeant, was buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona.
