Ronny Bodine earlier told me that on 11 Nov 2009, Robert A. Bodine, 79, of Hackettstown, New Jersey, in a telephone conversation with Ronny Bodine, confirmed his grandfather was Frank Bodine. He did not recall his grandmother as Bertha, but did recall Edna Bodine as the wife of Frank and that Charles Bodine was his uncle.

Anna Bodine, 79, died Oct. 21, 2009, at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown. Anna lived in Independence Township all of her life. She was born in Great Meadows on Nov. 15, 1929. She was the wife of Robert Bodine, Jr., and the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Pelesh) Ketz. She is survived by her husband, Robert; a son, Darryl Bodine, Hackettstown; two daughters, Cheryl Rinehart, Hackettstown, Darlene and husband Gerald Rolph, Hackettstown; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Bodine, III; a brother, Peter Ketz; and two sisters, Mary Kozimor and Eva Merrill. She was the owner/operator of Ann Bodine Real Estate in Hackettstown for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Hackettstown Seventh Day Adventist Church. Visitation will be Monday, October 26, 2009, 4-8 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown. Services will be Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Cochran Funeral Home Interment will be in Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows.
