Stanley W. Bodine AND Bessie M. Sullivan were married 1914 (exact date & location not specified).

On 5 June 1917, Stanley Wesley Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Morris County. He reported that he was married and had one child. In 1942, he registered for the World War II draft and reported he was a farmer, lived in Gladstone, Morris County, and that his wife, Mrs. Bessie M. Bodine, was his next of kin. In 1920-1930, Stanley and Bessie Bodine lived in Chester Township, Morris County where Stanley worked as a carpenter in 1920 and as a farmer in 1930. Stanley and Elizabeth Bodine were buried in Peapack Union Cemetery, Gladstone, Somerset County.

Gladstone---Services will be held tomorrow for Stanley W. Bodine, 65, of Old Chester Rd., who died Monday after a long illness in his home. Born in Gladstone, he had lived here all his life. He was a retired farmer. Through his mother, he was descended from the Davenport family which settled Westchester County in New York in 1670. He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard Taft of Gladstone; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the Bailey Funeral Home, Peapack, tomorrow at 2 p.m. with Canon L. I. Greene of St. Luke's Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Gladstone.

Gladstone---Mrs. S. Bodine, 75, who lived on Old Chester Road until recently, died Thursday (Oct. 1, 1970) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leonard Taft, in Spring Lake. Private funeral services were held Saturday at the Bailey Funeral Home in Peapack and interment was in Union Cemetery. Mrs. Bodine was born in Hoboken and had lived in Gladstone for many years until moving recently to her daughter's home in Spring Lake. The widow of Stanley Bodine who died in 1958, Mrs. Bodine had been a member of the Valley Club of Peapack.
