WARREN STANLEY BEEBE, 80, of WEST LONG BRANCH, died Wednesday, May 5, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Before retiring in 1984, he owned and operated Harper's Garage, West Long Branch. Earlier, he worked as a mechanic and flight engineer for Eastern Airlines. He was a graduate of Long Branch High School and the Casey Jones School of Aeronautics, Newark. He served with honor and pride during World War II in the U.S. Navy, Squadron VC-6. He was a 58-year member of American Legion Post 346, Neptune. He also was a member of the Long Branch Old Guard. He had a devoted wife, and a large and loving family. He was born in Long Branch and lived in West Long Branch most of his life. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur H. and Frances Hanisch Beebe; and a brother, Arthur H. Beebe, Jr. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Mildred Bodine Beebe; a son and daughter-in-law, Warren S. and Dalila Kurau Beebe of Wayside, Ocean Township; two granddaughters, Sandra Kurau Beebe of Long Branch and Patricia Kurau of Tinton Falls; two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth and Paige Kurau, both of Tinton Falls; brothers and sisters-in-laws, and many nephews and nieces.
