In 1930, Samuel Bodine lived with his wife and 2 daughters in Lambertville, Hunterdon County where he was employed as a machinist. Ruth (Bright) Bodine is the daughter of William K. and Emma Bright.

LAMBERTVILLE---Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth E. Bodine, 50, of 47 Buttonwood Street, will be held tomorrow morning at the Holcombe Funeral home, 147 North Main Street, Flemington. The Rev. John Elliott, pastor of the Lambertville Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville. There will be no viewing. Mrs. Bodine was born in Lambertville May 2, 1901, the daughter of the late William and Emma Bright. Surviving in addition to her husband are four children, Miss Dorothy Bodine, Mrs. Ruth Coleman, Mrs. Marian Elliott and William Bodine.

DOYLESTOWN, Pa.---Helen M. Bodine, 84, died Tuesday in Heritage Nursing Unit in Doylestown. Born in Hunterdon, she lived in Lambertville most of her life until moving to Doylestown 12 years ago. Mrs. Bodine retired in 1976 from Jockey International, Lambertville, N.J. She was formerly a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Lambertville, N.J. Daughter of the late W. John and Mary Patterson Hartpence, wife of the late Samuel Bodine, she is survived by three stepdaughters, Ruth Coleman of Lambertville, N.J., Dorothy Cicchino of Ocean View, N.J. and Marion Elliott of Lisbon, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Holcombe Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville, N.J. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Flemington, N.J.

Samuel Bodine, 82, of 47 Buttonwood St., Lambertville, died Friday at Doylestown Hospital. Born in Delaware Township, he had resided in the Lambertville area all his life. Mr. Bodine was a machinist and was a member of Berean Baptist Church of Stockton and Columbia Fire Co. Exempt Fireman's Association of Lambertville. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Hartpence) Bodine; a son, William E. Bodine of Stockton; three daughters, Ruth Coleman, Dorothy Cicchino, both of Lambertville, and Marion Elliott of Canton, N.Y.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main St. Flemington. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Lambertville. Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hunterdon County Heart Association 08822.
