Obituary.
Carol Theresa Bodine, of Ridgewood, New Jersey, born on June 24, 1933 in Sedalia, Missouri, to the late Ethel L. Bodine and the late Francis O. Bodine, passed away at age 84 on April 10, 2018 in Toms River, New Jersey. Carol attended Ridgewood High School and the College of Saint Elizabeth. She lived in New Jersey in the towns of Oakland, Mahwah, Glen Ridge, Forked River, Wayne, and Toms River during her lifetime. She worked at Cahill, Gordon, and Reindel in Manhattan as a Legal Secretary until retiring in 1996. Carol was the wife of the late Michael V. DiIorio. She was preceded in death by her son, Samuel F. DiIorio, USMC; brother, James Bodine; and dogs, Molly, Chrissy, and Taffy. Carol is survived by her sons, David M. DiIorio and his wife Rosann of Clark, NJ, James J. DiIorio and his wife Patricia of Elkridge, MD, Patrick P. DiIorio and his wife Denise of Tom's River, NJ, and Thomas A. DiIorio of Colchester CT; daughter, Mary Jean DiIorio of Burristown, TN; brother, Jerry Bodine of Isaquaah, WA; grandchildren, Michelle and Christopher DiIorio of Clark, NJ, and Kyle and Casey DiIorio of Tom's River, NJ; and lifelong friends, Joyce, Carol, and Ethel. She had a passion for drawing, painting, travel, boating, fishing, and writing. Donations in Carol's name to The College of Saint Elizabeth, 2 Convent Rd, Morristown, NJ 07960 are welcome and appreciated. Burial was at Saint Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Toms River, New Jersey.
