FRANCIS O. BODINE, 80, of Toms River, formerly of Ridgewood, died Thursday. Before retiring in 1967, he was a plant superintendent for MidWest Piping and Supply Co., Clifton, where he worked for 32 years. He was a member and former chairman of the American Welding Society in Newark. Surviving are his wife, Ethel Grinstead Bodine; a son, Jerry B. of Seattle, Wash.; a daughter, Carol T. Bodine of Toms River; two sisters, Marie Brudenell of Taft, Calif., and Agnes Cramer of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Loren of Rosatti, Mo., Joseph of Collinsville, Ill., and William of Lamar, Mo.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mass will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, with burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery, both in Toms River. Visiting will be Saturday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Toms River.
