Edgar Bodine, 21 AND Ella Peak, 24, were married 30 Jan 1906.
Edgar Bodine lived with his family 1910 in Neodesha, Wilson County, Kansas employed as a boiler maker. He reported that in 4 years of marriage his wife had borne 3 children of whom 2 were then living. Clarence Bodine registered for the World War I draft on 12 Sept 1918 in Sedgwick County, Kansas where he worked as a boiler maker. In 1920, the family lived in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California and 1930 in Sedalia, Pettis County, Missouri. Ella was the daughter of John F. and Ida (Huntington) Peak. Agnes was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Peak.

Funeral services for Clarence E. Bodine, Sr., 208 South Prospect, who died at Bothwell Hospital Saturday, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. A. J. Brunswick to officiate. Pallbearers will be S. J. Timborious, John Maroney, J. S. McVey, Frank Mehl, Ed Behen and Jack Allgaier. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Bodine, in addition to several children, is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Tom Wimberly and Miss Bernice Bodine, Larned, Kan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leo, and a sister, Mrs. John Rumsby. He was a member of the Sedalia Council 831, Knights of Co9lumbus and the Holy Name Society. Before retirement six years ago he was general boilermaker foreman at the Missouri Pacific shops, having been with that company since 1924. The body is at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, where at 8:15 p.m. Monday members of the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus will recite the rosary.
