AUGUSTUS LORENZO BODINE, of Bordentown, New Jersey, registered for the World War II Draft on 16 Oct 1940. He reported he was born 2 Aug 1906 in Berlin, New Jersey, worked for R.C.A. Victor and named Emma S. Bodine, his mother, as his next of kin.

Services for Augustus L. Bodine, 58, of 503 Laurel rd., Laurel Springs, will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Knight Funeral Home, Rich and Central aves., Berlin, where friends may call tomorrow night. Burial will be in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. Mr. Bodine, who died Friday at his home, was born in Berlin and moved to Laurel Springs from Somerdale in 1956. He was an employee of the county Highway Department. Surviving are his wife, Elsie M.; seven daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Speight of West Hollywood, Fla.; Mrs. Martha Betts of Egg Harbor, Mrs. Emma Carty of Atco, Mrs. Helen Horner of Laurel Springs, Mrs. Claire Kent of Lindenwold, Miss June and Miss Shirley; two sons, Harry A. of Laurel Springs and Raymond of Haddon heights; a brother, Harry A. Jr. of Lindenwold; a sister, Mrs. Helen B. Hartman of Somerdale, and 14 grandchildren.

Also a son, Raymond of AZ, five daughters June and Helen at home, Emma Carty of Pamona, Clair Kent, of Kirkwood, and Shirley of Erial. Also 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Thursday 10 am from the Knight Funeral Home, 14 Rich Ave., Berlin. Viewing Wednesday eve. 7-9pm from the funeral home. Interment Locustwood Memorial Park, Chery Hill.
