An out-of-town wedding of particular interest to society of this city was that of Miss Edith Nicely, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Shyrock Nicely, of Philadelphia, and Robert Pierce Bodine, son of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Bodine, of Berkeley Avenue, this city. The ceremony was solemnized last evening at 7 o'clock, at the Calvary Methodist Episcopal Church, of Philadelphia, with Dr. Herbert Randolph as the officiating clergyman.
In 1930, Robert Bodine lived in Trenton, Mercer County where he was employed as an examiner for New Jersey inheritance taxes.

Funeral services for Robert P. Bodine Sr. will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Ivins and Taylor Funeral Home, 77 Prospect Street. Mr. Bodine, 72, of 27 Farm Road, Ewing Township, died Saturday at Mercer Medical Center. The Rev. Warren Layton, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate at the funeral. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday. Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, or the Heart Fund. Mr. Bodine was born in Trenton and lived here all his life. He was a retired partner in the D. Bodine and Sons Meat Packing Company and a former employee of the state Taxation Division. Survivors include his wife, Edith Nicely Bodine; two sons, Robert P. Jr. of Media, Pa. and Thomas of Wilton, Conn. and five grandchildren.

Ewing--Edith N. Bodine died Wednesday in Mercer Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Bodine was a Trenton area resident for 60 years. She was a 1926 graduate of Swarthmore College. She was a member of the General Mercer Chapter of the Daughters of the Revolution and the library committee of Helene Fuld Medical Center. She was a 50-year member of the First United Methodist Church of New Jersey. She was a volunteer at Mercer Medical Center and was a member of the board of the Widows and Single Women's Home. Wife of the late Robert P. Bodine, she is survived by two sons, Robert P. Bodine Jr. of Media, Pa., and Thomas N. Bodine of Wilton, Conn.; a brother, Thomas S. Nicely of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; five grandchildren; and a nephew. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday from the First United Methodist Church of New Jersey, 15 S. Broad St. The Rev. Wayne H. Ackerman, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Ewing Church Cemetery under the direction of Ivins & Taylor. Friends may call Monday from 10:30 to 11.00 a.m. at the church.
