In 1880, Isaac Bodine lived in the home of his brother Henry Bodine in Anthony, Harper County, Kansas and worked as a blacksmith helper. In June 1900, he lived in Jackson Township, Ripley County, Indiana engaged in farming. He reported that in 14 years of marriage his wife had borne 4 children, all then living with them. In 1910 he reported all of his children were still living. In 1920, he and his wife lived in Omaha, Nebraska. In Jan 1925 he and his son Lester were living in Story County, Iowa and reported he was now widowed, but in fact, he and Lucina were divorced or separated.

1940 (10 April) Kansas City, Jackson Co.: Clara BODINE 43 IN reporter-Merchants Credit Bureau, Lucina J. 73 IN mother widowed.

BODINE--MRS. LUCINA JANE. Mrs. Bodine passed away Saturday morning after a long illness at the home of her daughter, Miss Clara Bodine, 3921 Garfield. Services Sunday, April 6, 3:30 p.m. at The Chapel on Paseo at Brush Creek blvd. Cremation.
