On 5 June 1917, Harry Bodine registered for the World War I draft in Spokane, Washington. He reported he was single and employed as a clerk with the Northern Pacific Railroad. In 1920, Harry and Pansy Bodine lived in Spokane, Spokane County, Washington in the home of Pansy's father, Thomas Golden. Harry was employed as a clerk in a railway ofice. In 1930, Harry and Pansy Bodine lived in San Gabriel, Los Angeles County, California where Harry worked as foreman for a electrical supply company and Pansy as a public school teacher. In 11 years of marriage the couple had had no children.
