Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gene Bodine of Petersburg will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary with a party Saturday at the VFW Hall in Petersburg, hosted by their children. They also will renew their vows Sunday at First Baptist Church in Petersburg. Bodine and the former Elizabeth Holzaepfel were married Aug. 6, 1977, at St. John's Lutheran Church. Mr. Bodine has been employed by the IGA in Petersburg for three years. Mrs. Bodine is a homemaker. They are parents of two children, Ann Marie Sprinkle of Mount Sterling and Michael Bodine of Petersburg.

Elizabeth is the daughter of Michael and Anna Bertina (Helgeson) Holzaepfel.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bodine and Beulah Bodine; and his brothers, Jim, Carl and Chuck. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Bodine; his children, Michael (Ashley) and Ann Marie Bodine; and his siblings, June, Joyce, Glen and Phil. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
