Thomas Francis Rooney, 49, divorced, of Belleville, NJ, securities trader, born in New York City, son of Frank Rooney & Theresa Hill AND Amy Chamberlain (Bodine) Marshall, 51,widowed, of Belleville, NJ, insurance company clerk, born in New Jersey, dau. of Victor Bodine & Mary Rittenhouse, were married 2 Sept 1947 at Waterford, by Henry L. Willis, Minister of the Presbyterian Church.

Belleville (N.J.) City Directories from 1952 to 1956 list Thomas and Amy C. Rooney as residents.

From Ocean County, New Jersey Deed Book 4768, p. 478.
Deed of 20 June 1989 reciting the history of land in the Borough of Lavallette: By deed of 18 May 1938 land was devised to Amy B. Marshall and Mary H. Bodine, as joint tenants with right of survivorship. Mary Bodine died 23 June 1958 leaving Amy B. Rooney (formerly known as Amy B. Marshall) as the surviving joint tenant. The said Amy B. Rooney died on 24 Aug 1963 and by her last will and testament duly probated in the Ocean County Surrogate's Officem she devised the premises to her husband, Thomas F. Rooney. Thomas F. Rooney died 16 March 1979 and by his last will and testament duly probated in the Ocean County Surrogate's Office.....etc.

Thomas Francis Rooney, born 15 Feb 1898, died 16 March 1979 in Broward County, aged 81.

From New Jersey Death Records:
Amy C. Rooney of Lavalette, Ocean County, died August 1963 in Maryland.
