PAMPA - Charles Ray Vick, 76, died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, in Amarillo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Vick was a pipefitter for Bechtel, retiring in 1990. He was a Methodist, a 32nd Degree Mason with Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF & AM and a member of the El Paso Scottish Rite Consistory. Survivors include his wife, Paula Jean Vick; a son, Stanley Ray Vick of Bells; a daughter, Brenda Jean Tennant of Houston; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, 2514 82nd St., Suite B, Lubbock, TX 79423; or American Cancer Society, in care of Gerry Caylor, 2130 Charles St., Pampa, TX 79065.
