FLEMINGTON---Funeral services for H. Burdett Herr, 71, of 343 New Market Road, Dunellen, who died Saturday in Muhlenburg Hospital, Plainfield, were held today at the Holcombe Funeral Home here. The Rev. L. Gardner Forman of the Methodist Church officiated. Interment was in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mr. Herr was born in Flemington and had lived in Dunellen for 16 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Bodine Herr; four daughters, Mrs. John Conneran of North Branch, Mrs. Louis Burrell of Dayton, Ohio, and the Misses Nancy and Judith Herr of Dunellen; three brothers, G. Ryman and Colonel Fred Herr of Stanton and Major General John herr of Washington, D. C., and two sisters, Mrs. Allen Hulsizer of Maryland and Mrs. Frederick Bachman of South Orange.

FLEMINGTON---Mrs. Mary B. Herr, 70 of West Fourth Street, Dunellen, died Friday at Runnells Hospital in Berkeley Heights after a long illness. She was born in Flemington and was a graduate of Reading Academy here. She attended Syracuse University. The widow of Henry Burdett Herr, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Patricia Conneran of Plainfield, Mrs. Mary L. Burrell of McLean, Va., Mrs. Nancy Suppe of Piscataway, and Mrs. Judy Sawicki of Point Pleasant, a brother, Frank M. Bodine of Oxnard, Calif., and 11 grandchildren. Services will be on Monday at 2 p.m. in the Holcomb Funeral Home in Flemington with the Rev. Clayton Maud, pastor of the First Baptist Church of New Market, officiating. Interment will be in Prospct Hill Cemetery, Flemington. There will be no calling hours.
