Mrs. Stella Braisted of 110 Pennsylvania Avenue announces the engagement of her daughter, Grace Marie, to David Leigh Bodine of Allentown, Pa. Miss Braisted also is the daughter of the late Walter W. Braisted. Mr. Bodine is the son of Mrs. Marion Bodine of Nicholson, Pa., and the late William H. Bodine.

David L. Bodine, 68, of 25 Seaverns Bridge Road, Merrimack, died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at his home. Mr. Bodine was born Feb. 19, 1932, in Clarks Green, Pa., son of Marion (Cooley) Bodine of Tunkhannock, Pa., and the late William Bodine. He was the husband of Grace (Braisted) Bodine of Merrimack. Mr. Bodine worked for General Electric. He was a member of the Community Chapel. Besides his wife and mother, survivors include a son, Mark Bodine of Auburn Hills, Mich.; three daughters, Sharon Tannebaum of Cleveland, Lisa McCarthy of Merrimack, with whom he lived, and Wendy Somers of Richland Town, Pa.; a brother, William Bodine of Oswego, N.Y.; three sisters, Shirley Haas and Charlotte Stokes, both of Allentown, Pa., and Dawn Sickler of Tunkhannock; six grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Nashua is in charge of arrangements.
