... One could surmise that Charles and Helen were married later in 1930 or early in 1931. I find a Helen Bodine, born 15 Dec 1907 in Philadelphia, living in Haddenfield, Camden County, NJ in 1932 and who died in Camden in April 1986. I cannot link her to Charles and also is missing in 1940, so if married to Charles and he was overlooked, then so would she have been. For now, Helen Morrison would be the 2nd wife and mother of Jr.

Dave--I did wonder about the age for Charles Jr. There is the one record that states Jr is the son of sr and you should have it or you have not yet gotten to that email. Charles Sr. died 6 Oct 1961 as per his obituary. He is the same person stated to have died 6 Oct 1961 leaving only one child, son Charles Jr. per the deed cited below. Camden City Directories from 1940 show Charles A. Bodine as a resident, treasurer of the Camden Brewing Company, but with no wife... The 1946 Camden High School Yearbook includes a dedication page to Charles Bodine Jr, but he was not yet a senior who were the only ones pictured in the book. That's where the 1931 date comes from.

CAMDEN--UPI--Charles Bodine, 70, president of the Camden Brewery and well-known philanthropist, was stricken and died early today in his suite at the Walt Whitman Hotel. Coroner Robert J. Blake said Bodine summoned Dr. Vincent J. McDermott of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital shortly after midnight when he took ill. Dr. McDermott said Bodine suffered a coronary occlusion and died before he could be taken to the hospital.

Charles A. Bodine died October 6, 1961, leaving a will dated August 23, 1957, duly proved in Camden County and recorded in Will Book 227, page 1, by which he failed to devise the premises in question. He left surviving as his only heirs at law, a son, Charles A. Bodine, Jr. in whom said premises vested by virtue of the intestate laws of New Jersey.
From Ronny Bodine:
In 1920, Charles Bodine, aged 29 and single, lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania employed as a foreman for a truck farm. His household included his brothers John and Harold, and John's wife and son.
1930 Whitpain, Montgomery Co., PA: Charles A. BODINE 38 NJ farmer, Anna 28 NJ wife. Married 10 years.
Charles and Anne Bodine cannot be located in the 1940 census and from the following city directories it seems the couple separated:
From Camden, New Jersey City Directories:
1940 Annie Bodine, 8422 Balfour Road (Pen twp).
1940, 1943 Chas. A. Bodine treas Camden Co. Beverage Co., r Reid Hotel.
