In 1910, Clarence Bodine, age 32 and single, was living with his parents in Walnut, Bureau County, working as a telegraph operator. On 12 Sept 1917, Clarence Bodine registered for the World War I draft in LaSalle County, Illinois. In 1930-1940, Clarence and Margurite Bodine lived in Ohio, Bureau County, Illinois where Clarence was employed as a railroad station agent. Clarence and Margaret Bodine were living in LaMoille, Bureau County, Illinois in Aug 1952.

Mrs. Margaret Bodine, 84, 249 Graham St., died Friday morning in Orchard Glen Nursing Home, following a long illness. She was born Jan. 16, 1887, in Ida Grove, Iowa, the daughter of George and Harriett Nelson Durham. She was married to Clarence Bodine Dec. 25, 1917, in Princeton. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Marguerite) Harderson, Dixon; one son, Ivan, Corvallis, Ore.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, three sisters, three brothers and one grandson. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Shepherd, pastor of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. A memorial was established for the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
