William L. Bodine was living 1920-1930 with his family in Elyria, Lorain County, Ohio employed as a motorman for an electric railroad in 1920 and a brakeman in 1930. The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram of 7 Oct 1938 reported that Marian R. Bodine filed for divorce from William L. Bodine. Marian (Lent) Bodine was the daughter of Charles B. and Jennie S. Lent.

William Lawrence (Red) Bodine, 68, of 1425 East Ave., died in his home at 7:15 p.m. Saturday after five years illness. Born in Plymouth, Jan. 15, 1897, Mr. Bodine lived in Elyria most of his life. He was a brakeman on the New York Central Railroad for 40 years before his retirement, attended LaPorte Methodist Church and was a member of the brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Surviving are his wife, Frances V.; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Regina) Robertson, Elyria; a son, Lawrence J., Dover; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Altha Bliss, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Mrs. Edith Doane, Cleveland. A brother, Charles and a sister, Alice Reed, preceeded him in death. Services will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Lyon officiating. Burial will be in LaPorte Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Mrs. Francis Verna Bodine Lint, 88, a former resident of Elyria, died yesterday at 2:15 a.m. in her home in Warsaw after a long illness. Mrs. Lint was born in Coshocton and moved to Warsaw in 1965. Surviving are her husband, Clarence; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Norman (Regina) Robertson, Elyria, and Mrs. Ira (Louise) Gross of Coshocton; three stepsons, William Bodine of Dover, Dallas Lint of Warsaw and William Lint of Westerville; and several stepgrandchildren. Her first husband, William L. Bodine, died in 1964. The funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home, Warsaw, with the Rev. Robert Hill officiating. Burial will be in Darling Run Cemetery near Warsaw.

Mrs. Marian R. Bodine (nee Lent), 85, of Golden Acres Home in Amherst, died Monday in Amherst Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Plymouth, Ohio, Mrs. Bodine formerly lived in Elyria and was a member of the Lake Avenue United Church of Christ. Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Norman (Regina) Robertson, of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; son, Lawrence J., of Chandler, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mildred Buck of Elyria. Friends may call in the Curtis-Scheuffler Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. today Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Mel Holtz, pastor of Lake Avenue United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Murray Ridge Cemetery.
Frances Randles was the daughter of John Holly and Adaline (McBride) Randles. She was married about 1909 to Arley C. Holderbaum, in 1919 to John H. Frazier and 1921 to Louis Garford Higgins.
