Hildur (Olson) Bodine was the daughter of Anton and Agnes Olson, who had immigrated from Sweden in 1902 and were naturalized in 1910. In 1930, Clarence and Hildur Bodine lived in Seattle where Clarence was employed as a book keeper for the U.S. Signal Corps.

Clarence Carl BODINE, May 22, 1907 ~ March 11, 2008
Clarence Carl Bodine was born of Swedish parents in San Francisco, California on May 22,1907. He was 100 years old! Survived by sons, Donn and Allan; six grandchildren, Steve, Bruce, Charlotte, Brian, Kevin, and Chris; and 14 great grandchildren. He attended Broadway High School. At the age of 18 he enlisted in the Alaska Communications System, a branch of the Signal Corps US Army. In 1928 he got married to his beloved wife, Hildur Ione Olson, who was with him for 71 years. They spent two years in Alaska. Clarence served in New Guinea and the Philippines during WWII, and retired at age 39. He sold real estate, was a home builder, and an apartment rental owner. He was a member of Calvin Presbyteri an Church and the Seattle Master Builders. In 1960 they moved to Innis Arden, Shoreline where they stayed the rest of their lives. He loved the Lord, and now the time has come for him to join Hildur. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday April 19th, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 18826 3rd Ave NW, Shoreline 98177.
