Bodine, Raymond 12/28/1927 - 2/27/2015 Otsego, MI Passed away Friday, February 27, 2015 in Allegan. Mr. Bodine was born December 28, 1927 in Monterey Township. Ray was a veteran of WWII, serving 3 years in the Army Air Force. For over 40 years, he was employed with KVP, later Brown and then James River. He was a member of the Otsego Moose Lodge. He loved being with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In his spare time Ray enjoyed working with his hands, working on tractors and building furniture for others. On July 2, 1949, in Otsego, he married Mary Vote, and they had recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife, also surviving are a son Doug Bodine of Otsego, a daughter Cheryl (Steve) Hamilton of Mansfield, TX; 6 grandchildren, Stephen (Corrine) Hamilton, Christopher Hamilton, Nathan Hamilton, Jennifer Jameson, Danielle (Jason) Corradini and Justin (Jennifer) Bodine; 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Maryann Birmele of Hartford and a brother Richard (Barbara)Bodine of Parchment. Ray was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Falor and an infant sister, Pauline. Cremation has taken place. Friends may meet with Ray's family Tuesday, March 3 from 6-8 P.M. at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego where a Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 4 at 11:00 A.M.
