Irene J. Falor, 73, of Otsego and formerly of Battle Creek died Monday, Oct. 12, 1998, at home. She was born Feb. 3, 1925, in Cheshire Center to Paul and Augusta (Goodrich) Bodine. She married Edwin W. Falor Sr. on Aug. 29, 1942, in Otsego. They operated the Otsego Coffee Shop during the 1960s. He died in 1989. Surviving are a son, Edwin Falor Jr. of Kalamazoo; daughters, Mary Jane Smith of Hastings and Phyllis Bridges of Battle Creek; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her mother, Augusta "Gussie" Bodine of Otsego; a sister, Mary Ann Birmele of Hartford; and brothers, Raymond Bodine of Otsego and Richard Bodine of Parchment. She also was preceded in death by an infant son; a grandson, George Edwin Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Crystal Smith and David Auten; and a sister, Pauline Bodine.
