Notes for: Annie A. Bodine

In 1900, Annie Mendleson, a widow, was living with her daughter Josephine in the home of her parents in Northfield, Richmond County. The census noted that during her brief marriage Annie had borne only one child. In 1930, Anna Mendelson, 53, was living in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Max and Josephine Levy in Port Richmond. Anna reported she had married at the age of 16.

Children: Josephine (5 Sept 1891). The 1900 census noted her birth in Sept 1891. At the death of Josephine Levy in July 1976 on Staten Island, her birth date was reported to the Social Security Administration as 5 Sept 1892.
