In 1900, Jacob Bodine and his family lived in Northfield, Richmond County, New York. He reported that he and his wife had been married 35 years and his wife Rachel had borne 10 children of whom only 3 were then living. He stated he and his wife had been born in Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1880. Jacob operated a store selling dry goods.
