GROTON. Mr. and Mrs. Karlo Barker and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Petrovich attended the private funeral services for their brother Richard S. Bodine on the Solon road Sunday afternoon. Mr. Bodine died suddenly at his home Thursday afternoon. Besides his sisters he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Bodine, a son, Richard Arland Bodine of McGraw, his mother, Mrs. Fannie Bodine of Cortland and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bodine was born in New York City, August 3, 1911, the son of George and Fannie Reynolds Bodine, but had lived around Cortland many years.

McGraw--Richard Stanley Bodine, 37, of the Solon road took his own life yesterday at his home. Mr. Bodine had been despondent due to lack of work for some time. He was found in bed late yesterday afternoon by his wife on her return from work. Dr. D. B. Glezen of Cincinnatus was called and pronounced death by suicide, due to rifle shot injuries. He is thought to have killed himself yesterday morning. Mr. Bodine was born in New York City, August 3, 1911, the son of George and Fannie Reynolds Bodine. He was a truck driver by occupation and had lived in the former Perry Fralick house for the past 2 1/2 years. Besides his wife, Mrs. Frances Richardson Bodine, he leaves a son, Richard Arland Bodine of McGraw; his mother, Mrs. Fannie Bodine of Cortland; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Baker and Mrs. Michael Petrovich of Groton; an aunt, Mrs. Edwin Harris of Moravia, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the late home.

CORTLAND--Mrs. Frances R. Euson of Gibsonton, Fla., formerly of Cortland, died March 8 in Gibsonton. Services were conducted in Gibsonton. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Surviving are a son, Richard A. Bodine of Gibsonton; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jean Michaud of Fair Haven and Mrs. Nancy Reale of Liverpool; and a brother, Charles Richardson of Albany. Mrs. Euson was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 591 here. She was formerly employed at Crescent Corset Co.
