Services for Marijo Rawlings, 69, of Lamesa will be at 2 p.m. today (Sept 6) at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Terry, pastor, officiating and the Rev. Clifton Igo, pastor of Crestview Baptist Church, assisting. Burial will be at the Lamesa Memorial Park under direction of Branon Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rawlings died Friday, Sep 2, 1994 at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 13, 1925 in Fort Towson, Okla. She married Malcolm Rawlings on Feb 1, 1945 in Lubbock. She moved to Lamesa from Sharpsburg, KY in 1964.

She taught home economics at Flower Grove, Lamesa and several other schools. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Methodist Church in Kentucky.

Survivors include her husabd; three sons, Donald and Marty, both of Lamesa, and Larry of Lubbock; and five grandchildren.
