Fred and Lula Bodine were buried in Colorado City Cemetery, Mitchell County. The Bodine family was living 1920 in Mitchell County where Fred engaged in farming. In 1961, the Bodines moved from Eastland to Abilene. Fred Bodine was a retired school custodian. On 5 Dec 1962, the Abilene "Reporter-News" ran an article on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. See their obituaries in the Abilene "Reporter-News" of 20 Oct 1976 and 3 March 1977.
