Marvin Bodine of Cedar Hill and Miss Hattie Warren of Arcadia Park were married Thursday evening by the Rev. W, H. Wynn, pastor of Forest Avenue Baptist Church, at his home, 3022 South Boulevard. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Warren of Arcadia Park.

In April 1940, M. C. and Hattie Bodine were living in Dallas County, Texas engaged in farming.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Bodine, 67, who died Saturday, was to be held at 3 p.m. today at Freetown Road Church of Christ with ministers Gerald Ball and James Medford officiating. Burial was to be in Southland Cemetery. Mrs. Bodine had been a resident of the Florence Hill community for 52 years. Born in Corsicana, she was a member of the Freetown Road Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Marvin; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Lee Roberts of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Sarah Ann Rucker of Lake Dallas, and Mrs. Lalia Warren of Dallas. Brown Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

2nd marriage--after Feb 1971--PEARL ALSPAUGH.
Lauretta was the daughter of Thomas Henry & Lura Gertrude (Sanders) Alspaugh. She was 1st married to Sidney Edward Underwood (1903-1985).

Services for Pearl Alspaugh Bodine, a retired schoolteacher, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Southland Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. Burial will be at Southland Memorial Park. Mrs. Bodine died Monday at Glen Rose Medical Center Nursing Home in Glen Rose. She was 88. Mrs. Bodine taught for nearly 60 years in Texas and Oklahoma public schools before retiring in 1972. Born in Florence Hill, now part of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Bodine grew up in Dallas County. She graduated from Grand Prairie High School and received a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma A&M, now Oklahoma State University, in 1926. Mrs. Bodine taught school in Oklahoma and West Texas from the 1920s to the 1940s before returning to the Dallas area. She taught in Lancaster and Grand Prairie between the mid-1940s and 1958, then taught in Arlington from 1959 until she retired. She is survived by a son, Sydney Underwood of Glen Rose.
