On 5 June 1917, Henry Harrison Bodine registered for the World War 1 draft in Holcomb, Dunklin County. He gave his birth date as 14 Dec 1889, was married with 1 child and was a farmer. Harry Bodine and his family were living 1920 in Holcomb Island Township, Dunklin County, next door to his mother and siblings. He was employed as a department store salesman. In 1930, he and his family lived in Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona where he worked as a barber and Gladys was employed as a saleslady in retail clothing. In 1940, he lived in Kennett, Dunklin County, Missouri working as a barber. His Missouri death certificate, no. 1948-29344, also gives his birth date as 14 Dec 1889, differing from the Sept 1890 recorded in the 1900 census. By trade he was a barber. He died of a coronary occlusion and was buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Gladys (Caldwell) Bodine was the daughter of Isaac and Mollie Caldwell.
