Subject: Elizabeth Bodine....
Hi,
I may have some interesting information, hopefully true. This is in regards of William Bodine's family with that link below.
I am the great-great grandson of William Radcliffe Cronce, that is a fact; but I am having a tough time trying to find his parents. The closest I have come so far is from the 1900 Census, where he is the nephew of William and Celestia Lewis. Trying to find both of their relatives was a pain in the butt finding information, until this morning when I ultimately found out that Celestia's maiden name was Bodine through Ancestry.com and your Web site.
Records have been very tough to think of a connection, but my best proposed theory came out and was wondering if there can be any added input. You have an Elizabeth Bodine born in 1850, but by 1875 her first name changed to "Millie" from the Hunterdon Democrat issued on 11/9/1875. She married John Cronce of Sandbrook. There is an 1880 Census record of a "Millia" Cronce with two daughters and a son with husband John. My great-great grandfather was born on November 12th, 1889 in Woodsville and by the 1895 NJ state Census, it seems both parents are deceased as he is already living with William and Celestia Lewis.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, hope some kind of better connection can be found.
Sincerely,
Michael Womelsdorf
