From the June 1915 New Jersey State Census:
Elizabeth, Union County: Helen F. BODINE born 19 Jan 1905 in New Jersey.
She was Helen F. age 5 in April 1910, Helen age 15 in January 1920, Helen Bodine, age 25 and single, living April 1930 in Union County, NJ with her widowed mother in Elizabeth, working as a stenographer for an insurance company. The 1947 Elizabeth City Directory lists Helen Bodine, packer, residing with her mother. She does not appear in the 1949 directory or later.
1st marriage--1948--ALBERT FRANCIS JOHNSON.

Albert Johnson, 38, son of Hawkins Johnson & Henrietta Gee AND Helen Bodine, 35, dau. of Willard Bodine & Mabel Larkin, were married 3 July 1948 at Grace Church in Elizabeth.
On 16 Oct 1940, Albert Francis Johnson of Elizabeth, NJ, registered for the World War II Draft. He reported he was born 5 Feb 1910 in Jersey City, NJ, worked for General Motors, Inc. and named his wife Mrs. Helen Nelson Johnson as his next of kin.

Brick Township---Albert F. Johnson, 70, a township resident and retired machinist, died yesterday at home. Mr. Johnson was born in Jersey City and moved here a year ago from Elizabeth. He worked 10 years at Adamas Carbide Co., Kenilworth, retiring five years ago. Surviving are two sons, Albert E., here, and Carl, Elizabeth; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Cohen, Erie, Pa.; 21 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home, here, is in charge of arrangements.

Atlantic Highlands---Theodore J. Mihalkovits, 60, of 123 Ocean Blvd., died Friday at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Elizabeth and moved here 14 years ago. At the time of his death, Mr. Mihalkovits was employed as an inspector by the Jersey Central Railroad at Elizabethport. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a communicant of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Helen Bodine Mihalkovits, and two brothers, Albert, Pittstown, Pa., and John, Elizabeth. The John P. Condon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Helen F. Mihalkovits, 88, of Highlands, died Thursday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was a member of St. James Memorial Episcopal Church, Eatontown. Mrs. Mikhalkovits was born in Newark and lived in Elizabeth and Atlantic Highlands before moving to Highlands in 1963. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore, in 1968. Surviving is her friend Sharn Fennen, with whom she lived. Posten's Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands, is in charge of arrangements.
