The Cramer family was living 1910-1930 in Evanston, Cook County where Charles worked as a clerk in 1910, in advertising in 1920, and was foreign editor with the Harvester Co. in 1930. Carrie reported in 1910 she had borne one child in their two years of marriage. On 12 Sept 1918, Charles Howard Cramer registered for the World War 1 draft in Evanston, Cook County, Illinois. He reported he was born 2 Aug 1883, worked as a clerk for the International Harvester Corporation, and Carrie Bodine Cramer, his wife, was his next of kin.
