Willard H. Bodine AND Mabel A. Learkin, both of Elizabeth, NJ, were married 2 April 1900.
The 1905 New Jersey State Census for Union County lists William H. BODINE 37, Mabel A. 37, Helen E. 0.
Willard Bodine was living 1910 with his family in Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey where he worked as a railroad conductor. Mable reported she had borne 1 child in their 10 years of marriage. In 1920, Willard now worked as a boiler maker for an oil works in Elizabeth. By April 1930, Mable Bodine was widowed and living in Elizabeth with her daughter Helen.

Willard Henry Bodine, 61, an employee in the chemical department of the Standard Oil Company's Bayway refinery, died yesterday at his home in Elizabeth, N.J., following a brief illness. He had lived in Elizabeth all his life.
The city directories for Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey list Mabel Bodine, widow of William and Helen Bodine, employed as a packer, living together in the 1947 directory. Mrs. Mabel Bodine was living alone in 1949. The 1951 directory lists "Mrs. Mabel Bodine died Jan. 26, 1950 aged 68." [Note: Mabel was aged 32 in April 1910, 41 in Jan 1920 and 51 in April 1930.]
