On 30 June 1943, William Bonham Bodine of Trenton, New Jersey registered for the World War II Draft. He reported he was born 30 June 1925 in Trenton, worked for Tattersalls, and named his father, Mr. Harry J. Bodine, as his next of kin.

Miss Jean L. Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald C. Smith, of Edgewood Road, Yardley, Pa., became the bride on Thursday afternoon of William B. Bodine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Bodine, of Atterbury Avenue. The ceremony was performed at 4 o'clock in the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church by the Rev. George C. Ames.

YARDLEY, PA---Jean Smith Woodward, 60, died Thursday in Mercer Medical Center. Born in Ardmore, Pa., she was a longtime area resident. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville and a volunteer for the American Red Cross of Morrisville. Daughter of the late Ronald C. Smith, she is survived by her husband, William Woodward Jr.; two sons, Richard Bodine of Newtown and Jeffrey S. Woodward at home; one stepson, William P. Woodward of Morrisville; two stepdaughters, Barbara Christ of Newtown, Pa. and Margaret Kerrigan of Washington Crossing, Pa.; her mother, Estelle Updike Smith; a brother, Ronald A. Smith of Yardley, Pa.; a sister, Barbara Titus of Falls Township, Pa.; an uncle, 11 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday from the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 West Trenton Ave., Morrisville, Pa. The Rev. Richard Kauffman will officiate. Burial will follow in Newtown Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Bucks County Unit, 43 South Main St., Doylestown, Pa. 18901.

The wedding of Miss Paula M. Brodowicz, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph L. Brodowicz of this city, and William B. Bodine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Bodine of Atterbury Avenue, took place yesterday in All Saint's Chapel of Trinity Cathedral. The Very Rev. Frederic M. Adams, Dean of the Cathedral, officiated.

EWING - Pauline B. Bodine, 87, passed away on Tuesday April 3, 2012, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. Born in Poland, Pauline came to the United States at the age of two, and has lived in the Ewing area for many years. She was an avid bridge player, and a long time member of the Trenton Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf and tennis with her friends. Predeceased by the love of her life her husband, William, and mother of the late Robert H. Bodine, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, William and Nancy Bodine of Atlanta, GA; two grandsons, Paul and his wife, Erin, and Sam and his fiancee, Elaine. Burial Office will be offered in her loving memory on Saturday at 12 noon at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 300 South Main St., Pennington, NJ 09534, with the Rev. Canon John C. Belmont Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Ewing Church Cemetery on Scotch Road in Ewing. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 5 - 7 p.m. at the M. Paula (Brodowicz) Bodine was the daughter of Joseph L. Brodowicz of Trenton.

William B. Bodine, 58, a Trenton-area businessman and civic leader, died Monday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after heart bypass surgery. He lived in West Trenton, N.J. President of Tattersall's, a company dealing in fuels and building materials, he served on a number of boards, including those of the Helene Fuld Medical Center, the Children's Home Society, the National State Bank, Luther Towers and the Trenton Symphony Association. He was past president of the Trenton Kiwanis and the Trenton Boys' Club and he was active in Trenton's Chamber of Commerce, the New Jersey Fuel Oil Association and the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors: his wife, Paula; sons, Richard, William Jr. and Robert H., and three grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Trinity Cathedral, West State Street, Trenton.
