Notes for: Ferdinand ("Ferd") Maynard Bodine
I will put various files below that have conflicting information for now since there is a mystery with Emma Elizabeth Carpenter. We are still working on figuring all this out. Maybe she married Albert Leslie Bodine first and then Ferdinand Bodine later or maybe she did not and these two Emmas are different people. Stay tuned.

Ferdinand M. Bodine AND Eva M. Lowrey were married 27 Nov 1895 in South Bound Brook.
'Ferd' M. Bodine and his wife Eva were living with his mother and stepfather 1900 in Franklin, Somerset County, New Jersey. In 1910, Ferdinand Bodine was engaged in farming in Franklin Township. Evangeline reported that in 14 years of marriage she had borne 1 child who was then living with them. On 12 Sept 1918, he registered for the World War I draft in Bound Brook, Somerset County.

BOUND BROOK, Feb. 24.---Mrs. Fred Bodine, for many years a resident of Franklin Park died Sunday afternoon. The funeral services will take place on Wednesday.

Emma, daughter of George & Martha Carpenter, was living with her parents 1900 in Northampton Twp., Burlington County and was first married 6 July 1908 in Burlington to Howard Ellis Applegate with whom she is seen in the 1915 Burlington Co., NJ census.

Obituary, The Daily Home News (New Brunswick, NJ) of Wednesday, 12 Dec 1945.
Ferdinand M. Bodine, husband of Mrs. Emma Carpenter Bodine of Mt. Holly, formerly of Franklin Park, died on Monday after a long illness. Besides his wife, the deceased is survived by a daughter. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Holly at 1 o'clock Thursday after which the body will be brought to this city and taken to Elm Ridge Cemetery, Three Mile Run, for interment at 3 o'clock under the direction of Undertaker H. P. Perinchief of Mt. Holly.
