In a double ring ceremony performed on April 8 at Daniels Memorial Methodist Church in Goldsboro, N.C., Miss Charlese Sutton of Goldsboro, daughter of Mrs. Cecil Daughtry of Clinton, N.C., and the late Festus Sutton, became the bride of Carroll Lamont Bodine, son of Mrs. Carroll Bodine of this city, and the late Mr. Bodine. The Rev. O. V. Elkins officiated.

EWING-- Carroll Bodine, 70, died Monday at home. Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident. He retired as a plumber and steam fitter with the N.J. State Hospital, Ewing. Mr. Bodine was a Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1950 to 1953. Son of the late Carroll R. and Jenny Hammerstone Bodine, he is survived by his former wife, Nancy Gauntt of Kentucky; three step-daughters, Maggie Berberich of Orlando, Fla., Lisa Brown and Nancy Ann Wagner of Kentucky; and two grandchildren, Kaitlin and Jacob Brown. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle, Hopewell Township. Burial will be in Ewing Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
