MORRISVILLE--Frank G. Bodine, 79, died Thursday in Mercer Medical Center. He had been the oldest living member of the Union Fire Company. Born in Pineville, Pa., he retired in 1968 as a chemical technician at Rohm & Haas Co., Bristol, after 27 years of service. Bodine once served as constable here, and was active with local baseball and track-and-field teams. He also was an active hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Union Fire Company for more than 60 years. Son of late George and Jennie Worthington, he is survived by his wife, the former Beatrice Sackin; a son, Harry F. of Levittown; a daughter, Eleanor J. Caplan; a brother, Elbert, here; two sisters, Cynthia Wells and Edith Degg, both of Lawrenceville; five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 45 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville. The Rev. Philip R. Zink, associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Union Fire Company will hold a service at 7:30 p.m.

MORRISVILLE, PA.---Beatrice Sackin Bodine, 82, died Tuesday in St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Trenton, N.J., she was a resident of Morrisville for most of her life. She was a member of B'nai Brith and Deborah, both of Trenton. Daughter of the late Max and Rose Sackin, and wife of the late Frank G. Bodine, she is survived by a daughter, Eleanor J. Caplin of Morrisville; a son, Harry F. Bodine of Newtown; three brothers, Sidney Sackin and Milton sackin, both of Ewing, N.J., and Alvin Sackin of Langhorne; a sister, Jean Goldman of Willingboro, N.J.; five grandchildren, Roselyn Ritchey of Dayton, Ohio, Beth C. Hanks of Yardley, David Bodine of Watsonville, Calif., Kenneth Bodine of Lexington, S.C., and Gail B. Donahue of Suffield, Conn.; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Orland's Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing. Rabbi Allan Tuffs of Temple Shalom, Levittown, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Period of Mourning will be observed at the Caplin residence, 138 W. Franklin St., Morrisville.
